Flahavan’s have released a survey on people’s breakfast habits, to mark Porridge Week, which starts today and runs until October 11. The survey revealed that people spend less than ten minutes a day over breakfast during the week.
Meanwhile, more men than women (41% and 33% respectively) claim that having breakfast is the most important thing they do in the morning.
Having a cup of tea or coffee ranks only fifth most important, while checking the news or social media is prioritised by 3% of the 945 people surveyed.
The seventh generation family owned-business, Flahavan’s, ranked as the top-selling breakfast cereal in Checkout Magazine’s Top 100 Brands 2014.
