This month Ferrero launches Tic Tac Mixers on to the Irish market in two flavours; Cherry Cola and Peach Lemonade.
Tic Tac Mixers melt from a top fruit-flavoured layer to a fizzy-drink inspired second flavour, i.e. cherry to cola and peach to lemonade.
The product’s launch in the UK less than six months ago has already brought new shoppers to the sugar confectionery category. With the support of heavyweight media investment, the Irish launch is set to be widely seen by the target of those aged 18 and over.
A mix of TV, video-on-demand and digital marketing will be used to communicate Tic Tac Mixers’ unique offering to drive awareness and encourage consumers to try it.
Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director at Ferrero, commented, “We are constantly looking at new ways to excite young shoppers, who have a love for trying delicious new products that are genuinely different.
“Our research shows that nearly two thirds of existing Tic Tac consumers will buy Mixers in addition to the core range, providing retailers with a powerful incremental sales opportunity.”
Tic Tac Mixers will be available in both the 18g and 48g pack formats, and retailers will be able to support the launch with a range of in store point of sale material available from www.ferrero-trade.com.
