Britvic Named 11th Best Large Workplace In Ireland

Soft drinks company Britvic has been named as one of the best large workplaces in Ireland by the Great Places to Work in Ireland Organisation.

The company ranked at 11th place and is the highest FMCG workplace in the category, marking the third consecutive year that it listed in the top 25 rankings.

“With a record entry to this years’ awards, this is a fantastic achievement and the team should be extremely proud,” said Kevin Donnelly, managing director of Britvic Ireland.

The Great Place To Work Best Workplaces awards were handed out at the annual awards ceremony on Wednesday at the Clayton Burlington Hotel. The awards recognise companies working to strengthen workplace culture and improve employee wellbeing

“This is a testament to everyone who works in Britvic Ireland and Counterpoint who contribute to creating a great place to work, driving a spirit of trust, teamwork and common purpose every day – a big thank you to everyone,” Donnelly said.

Tesco

Tesco Ireland was also recognised as one of the best large workplaces in the country, at number 27 of the list. The UK retailer is one of the largest private sector employers with ver 13,000 staff in 149 stores across Ireland.

The Great Place To Work organisation lauded Tesco on its culture, “achieving its organisational objectives with employees who give their personal best and who work together as a team, in an environment of trust,” according to ShelfLife.

Geraldine Casey, people director, Tesco Ireland said “We’re thrilled to now have a foundation from which to continue on a meaningful journey for our 13,000 colleagues across our business.”

Other award notables included the tobacco company JTI Ireland, Lucozade Ribena Suntory and L’Occitane Ireland, who came in for 'Best Small Workplaces' at number 2, 15 and 21, respectively.
