Colgate VP Franck Moison Announces Retirement After 40 Years

The Colgate-Palmolive Company has announced that Franck Moison, vice chairman, will retire on December 31, 2018, after 40 years of service.

“We are extremely grateful for Franck’s many outstanding contributions to Colgate,” Ian Cook, chairman and CEO, said.

“He leaves an enduring legacy of expanding the geographic scope of our core business, advancing strategic acquisitions key to our market leadership, and building functional excellence to drive our business success. We wish him all the best as he begins an active retirement.”

Moison joined Colgate-Palmolive in France in 1978, working through marketing and management positions in Colgate-Europe and at the corporate level.

From 20017 to 2010, he held a senior position in global marketing, supply chain and technology before he was appointed as chief operating officer, emerging markets in 2010.

In 2013 he progressed to further responsibilities for business development in 2013, before becoming the vice chairman in 2016.

During the Summer, the company announced a series of changes in its management structure, including Noel Wallace as the new chief operating officer, responsible for all the company's operating units, and Justin Skala as executive vice president, chief growth and strategy officer, leading all the company's commercial growth functions.
