Keelings Brings Growing Tunnel Back To Bloom

Keelings returns to Bloom this upcoming June Bank Holiday Weekend and will reintroduce its 20 metre-growing tunnel, along with a few added extras.

The growing tunnel allows visitors the chance to see how Keelings’ fruit is grown, showcasing a range of fruits and flower plants growing naturally.

Gardening fans can get useful tips from Keelings’ own experts on hand to answer any questions about growing produce at home, while children will get a chance to plant their own strawberries in the ‘Love to Grow’ area.

Alongside strawberries, the tunnel will also feature raspberries and blueberries, alongside peppers, lettuces and lilies.

David Keeling, managing director of Keelings, explained, "We wanted to create an alternative presence at Bloom that would allow us to involve visitors in our growing process that we are so passionate about.

“The tunnel represents all that we grow at Keelings Farm,” he continued, “We want our love for growing to rub off on visitors to Bloom.”

Keelings have also teamed up with yoghurt producer Glenisk to bring a smoothie bar to the festival, offering visitors a low-fat snack.
