Did you know?... The PepsiCo Foundation has announced it is to donate $10 million to American non-profit The Recycling Partnership in order to improve recycling standards in the US. The foundation for the food and beverage giant says that it is joining up with the non-profit as part of its 'All In On Recycling' challenge, which aims to raise $25 million in total donations from leading businesses and organisations.

Did you know?... Shopper-marketing firm Bridgethorne has called on more retailers to address the needs of single-person households, following the announcement that Tesco is to increase its single-serve range by nearly 40% this year. Tesco is to increase its range to include single beef burgers and steak fillets, as well as hand-sized packets of new potatoes and broccoli, which 'demonstrates recognition of this increasingly important demographic’.

Did you know?... British economic growth rebounded in the second quarter as retail sales and construction benefited from a warm weather boost. The country's Office for National Statistics said gross domestic product grew by 0.4% between April and June, compared to the first three months of the year. That figure was in line with economists' estimates.
