Did you know?... Coca-Cola Great Britain has revealed the dates and locations for the Official Coca-Cola Premier League Trophy Tour, which kicks off on 23 March. Fans will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the Premier League trophy. The tour will also feature a FIFA gaming floor on the bespoke bus for guests to compete in a ‘Battle of the Ballers’ tournament; a ‘Take the Mic’ commentary experience, where fans can re-script some of the most historic moments of the Premier League and guest appearances from some of the legends of the game.

Did you know?... Young’s Seafood announced the appointment of Mark Richmond as its new Group Operations Director, tasked with overseeing all the company’s manufacturing operations. He replaces Steve Lidgett who is retiring. Prior to joining Young’s, Richmond was the Divisional Operations Director for the 2 Sisters Food Group Meals Solution Division, responsible for operations across seven sites with over half a billion pounds of turnover. Before that, he spent 11 years with Greencore, most recently as Category Operations Director.

Did you know?... Tyson Foods, which recently switched to Irish DNA Tracing technologies, said it was recalling more than 63,000 pounds of packaged frozen chicken strips because it may contain pieces of metal from production. The poultry giant said Thursday it was alerted of the problem after two customers complained to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Services. Tyson said there have been no reports of adverse reactions to the products.

Did you know?... Quintessential Brands has unveiled its limited edition Bloom Jasmine & Rose Gin. The new pink gin has been made using natural botanicals, including rose petals from Morroco and jasmine flowers from East Asia. Released in time for Mother’s Day, the pink Bloom will be available exclusively in Asda stores in the UK for £20.00 per bottle.

Did you know?... Ardagh Group recently hosted a Sustainable Brewing & Packaging event at its Wilson, North Carolina glass production facility. Craft breweries from across the state of North Carolina, government agency officials from North Carolina and representatives from other supply chain businesses gathered to discuss sustainability and recycling initiatives. It hosted a panel discussion about sustainability practices in breweries, from more efficient equipment and installations to composting programmes in taprooms.

Did you know?... Starbucks customers in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and London will help test new Greener Cups that will be both recyclable and compostable in those municipalities’ facilities. Starbucks will choose the cup technologies from NextGen Cup Challenge winners announced earlier this month, working with expertise and support from the NextGen Consortium.
