Proximo Spirits UK has appointed Febvre & Company as distributor of its products in the Republic of Ireland.
The Proximo portfolio includes Boodles Gin and Lola Belle Cherry Rum, while in April, Proximo replaced Diageo as the UK and Ireland distributor of Tequila brand Jose Cuervo.
"Proximo have enjoyed excellent successes with their brands in the UK and Ireland over the past 30 months," said Proximo Spirits UK's General Manager Dave Steward. "With the addition of Jose Cuervo to the portfolio, now is the right time for us to bring our brands back under our control. We look forward to starting on a new chapter in partnership with Febvre & Company".
The product range will be available in both the on- and off- trade and in all Irish duty free shops operated under the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA).
Managing Director of Febvre & Co. Anthony Alken said the move represented “an exciting new chapter for our company”.
