Did You Know… Cadbury has discontinued the Time Out bar, saying on Twitter that it had been declining in popularity? The chocolate company is trialling a replacement with the Time Out Wafer, which is a similar product in a single finger format.

Did You Know... Independent cash machine operator Cardtronics has unveiled its first ATM in the Republic of Ireland? The Cashzone-branded ATM is located in a convenience store at Dromiskin, just outside Dundalk.  According to research commissioned by Cardtronics Europe on the 'Value of Cash' in convenience stores and at forecourts, 71% of shoppers consider a cash machine as an important service to have on site.

Did You Know… Services provider Aramark has announced the Irish charities it will support in 2016, which include Aware, the Mater Foundation, Cork Samaritans and the Galway Autism Partnership? Since the establishment in 2008, the Aramark Charitable Fund in Ireland has raised over €380,000 for its various nominated charities.

Did You Know…The National Ploughing Association’s Innovation Arena Awards has opened for applications? Irish agri-companies are invited to showcase their products and innovations at the National Ploughing Championships in Offaly this September. This year’s top prize, which will be presented at the event, is €15,000,

Did You Know… Aldi has unveiled its Easter range for this year, with an offering that includes private label Easter eggs from €3.99 to €8.99? The range also includes a variety of spring lunch favourites like lamb and fish, alongside desserts like Specially Selected Tarte Tatin (€4.99). This year, it is also offering dairy- and gluten-free Easter eggs.

Did You Know… Banana firm Fyffes showcased its graduate programme at the recent Agri Careers Fair held at the RDS in Dublin? Over 7,000 students looking for work in the Agri-business industry attended, and had a chance to learn about Fyffes' placement scheme in Central America.

Did You Know… The Guinness Storehouse has announced details of its five-day 2016 St. Patrick’s Festival activities? The line up is set to showcase Ireland’s best beer, food and music. From 16 to 20 March, the storehouse will run a series of what it calls ‘contemporary Irish experiences’, including performances by Irish band Na Fíanna.

Did You Know… Wholefoods Wholesale has recalled bags of its Rainbow Organic, Organic Apricot Kernels? The product’s labelling provides no directions for use, but the FSAI advises a maximum of 1-2 apricots kernels a day for adults, due to the long-term effects of their naturally-occurring cyanide content.

Did You Know… The Sunday Times reports that Dunnes Stores enlisted the help of renowned Italian design firm Schweitzer for its new store formats? Schweitzer previously worked with luxury clients like Armani and French department store, Galeries Lafayette.
