The study, by Edge by Ascential’s research and data insight arm, Retail Insight, found that online's share of sales in the health and beauty sector is expected to rise to 16.5% globally by the end of the year.

Australia's government may block China Mengniu Dairy Co Ltd's purchase of some of the country's best-known milk brands, the Australian Financial Review reported, citing sources who blamed "diplomatic issues". Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has gone against the advice of the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) which was in favour of approving the A$600 million ($430.98 million) deal, the newspaper said, without identifying its sources.
Did you know?... Swedish confectionery group Cloetta has announced that it is to close its nut processing facility in Helsingborg and outsource production to a third-party supplier. The facility in Helsingborg manufactures brands such as Nutisal and Parrots and is the company’s sole nut processing unit, reports esmmagazine.com The move will help the company to save up to SEK10 million on an annual basis along with a one-off restructuring cost of SEK15 million.
