Did You Know... Kelsius has signed a deal, potentially worth €2 million a year, with Musgrave, which will see its Foodcheck system rolled out across Centra and SuperValu stores nationwide? Foodcheck enables workers to make sure food is being kept at the right temperature by using sensors to record and store data online. If the temperature doesn’t conform to regulatory standards, supervisors are sent a text alert.

Did You Know... Last Thursday saw €77,500 worth of cigarettes and tobacco seized by Revenue officers in Dublin, during an operation targeting the sale of illegal cigarettes in the Moore Street Area? Blackmount, Excellence, Richman and MG cigarettes, as well as Golden Virginia, Samson and Flandria tobacco were found during the search of a private dwelling and a car in Dublin's inner city.

Did You Know... Aldi has opened its seventh County Kerry store in Kenmare? The Kenmare outlet brings the number of Aldi stores in Ireland to 116. The discounter celebrated the opening of the new store with family entertainment and free breakfast samples, while five shoppers won €100 worth of Aldi vouchers each.

Did You Know... As part of its 'Live Well' range, Centra is making Quinola Mothergrain’s Express Quinoa range available in 150 of its stores? The range available includes the three award winning Quinoa Grains; Pearl, Red & Black quinoa, which was voted Peru’s best quinoa and sourced from a single estate under Fairtrade terms.

Did You Know... As the Rugby World Cup looms, Topps has expanded its Match Attax range to include International rugby? Next week will see the rollout of Rugby Attax as the only licensed rugby trading card game in the world. The 240-card set will feature players’ photos alongside statistics.

Did you know… Aramark Ireland has seen its revenue increase to €233 million, and profits rise 17% to €5.8 million, according to accounts just filed? The facilities management firm grew its profits despite a €1.95 million investment in a restructuring programme last year, the Irish Independent reported.

Did you know… Teagasc has warned that dairy income in 2015 could fall as much as 40% this year for farmers, according to the Irish Examiner? The paper reported that while prices on beef and sheep have proven positive, dairy income is expected to be down due to a fall in milk price. Teagasc made the forecast in its mid-year assessment of the sector.

Did you know… Just Eat, a digital marketplace for takeaway food, has seen its revenue rise 54% to £107.8 million, according to accounts just filed? The firm, which links around 11 million users to some 59,000 takeaway restaurants, saw the number of orders rise 52% last year. In Ireland, the firm has over 750,000 active users, and has been downloaded more than 370,000 times.
