Musgrave 'In The Running' To Acquire Java Republic

Musgrave Group is reportedly in the running to acquire Java Republic.

The deal between the grocery and wholesale company and artisan roasted coffee and hand crafted tea maker could be worth in the region of €30 million, reports The Sunday Times.

Java Republic was founded in 1998 by David McKernan, who put the company up for sale late last year.

McKernan hired UK corporate finance company Cavendish to handle the process, reports claim.

Musgrave's brands include another coffee company Frank and Honest.
