Freddy Fyffes bananas have been voted Ireland’s Gold Award winning Baby and Toddler snack food in the first National Parenting Product Awards 2014.
The Freddy Fyffes product was chosen winner in the Food and Feeding section of the competition based on research conducted by Millward Brown amongst parents and experts in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
The competition was organised by Easy Parenting Magazine in the course of which some 152 products were evaluated across 34 separate categories ranging from food to baby clothing and baby care.
Expressing the company’s delight at having won the award, Fyffes Sales & Marketing Manager, Emma Hunt-Duffy said "at a time when parents are increasingly conscious of the food their children eat, it is especially pleasing to know that the natural and nourishing qualities of bananas are recognised and appreciated."
