Tesco Mobile Ireland (TMI) has announced today that it has doubled its subscribers in the past two years. The company has now reached 200,000 customers availing of its mobile phone network.
Tesco Mobile Ireland Managing Director Elaine Russell said, "TMI is thrilled to reach its 200,000th subscriber, which is a clear endorsement of our commitment to providing customers with great value without compromise in terms of handsets range or coverage. We have doubled our customer base in two years and are now looking at how we can continue this upward trajectory.”
TMI attributes the rise in customers to its competitive offers across the Pay-as-you-go and Pay-monthly tariffs, varied handset range and call credit availability in 5,000 locations including six stand-alone shops.
The company plans to further develop over the next twelve months through in-store offerings and mobile phone shop expansion. All Tesco top-ups receive Tesco Clubcard points as an added incentive.
