Ulster Bank Announces McCormack's Family Farm Investment

Ulster Bank has announced a €2.1 million investment in Meath-based McCormack’s Family Farm as it expands into the raw juice market with its Loose and Lively Beverages range.

McCormack’s uses a processing system to preserve the fibre and vitamin content of the fruit and vegetables going into its juices, and is currently in talks with retailers nationwide to stock the range.

Already an established salad leaf and herb business, the farm has trebled its turnover since 2009 and currently stocks Tesco, Lidl, SuperValu and Dunnes Stores.

The financial deal with Ulster Bank, which includes €200,000 to update McCormack’s factory premises, will provide the company with facilities from invoice discounting to loans and asset finance.

“This deal is allowing us to expand our business significantly, into a new product range which has great potential for future growth,” remarked Stephen McCormack, managing director of McCormack Family Farms.
