Musgrave Triathlon Committee has donated a cheque for €35,000 to food charity Cork Penny Dinners. Musgrave’s Triathlon fundraising event raised a total of €205,000 for charities this year. Musgrave’s Triathlon fundraiser also donated €35,000 to children’s ambulance service Bumbleance, €35,000 to Pieta House and €100,000 to Breakthrough Cancer Research.

Applegreen today (19 December) announced that their customers and staff all over Ireland have raised almost €2 million for charity since the foundation of the company’s charitable fund in 2009. Since January 2016, over €1 million has been raised for current charity partners Debra Ireland, Barnardos, ISPCC Childline and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.
Just Eat, online food ordering and delivery, has announced the signing of Arctic Stone ice cream which will be available to order on Just Eat for delivery on Saturdays and Sundays from their Blackrock Market Stall.The ice cream is normally only available to order in person at the Blackrock Market Stall and Marlay Park.
The Bord Gáis Energy Index for November was up by 9% as the wholesale prices of oil, gas and electricity all rallied during the month. Gas prices rose by a hefty 17% from October’s levels as cooler temperatures and higher demand meant that more imported gas was needed to heat homes and businesses.
