ASAI Appoints Two New Members To Organisation

The Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland (ASAI) recently appointed two new members to its organisation.

The CEO of NewsBrands Ireland, Ann Marie Lenihan, will serve on the board, and the senior consumer protection manager at Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Clare Mulcahy, will be a member of the Independent Complaints Committee.

Ann Marie Lenihan

Lenihan will remain NewsBrands Ireland’s CEO while she is on the ASAI board. As one of the board’s 15 members, she will help manage the business of ASAI and the organisation’s code.

At NewsBrands Ireland, Lenihan sets the strategic direction of the organisation, manages industry co-operation and communicates the news industry’s values. She has also worked in public relations and marketing in the UK and South Africa.
