Aurivo Co-Operative Society Presents Cheque Worth €40,000 To ISPCC Childline

The Aurivo Co-operative Society has presented a cheque for €40,000 to ISPCC Childline.

The donation will help fund childlike services in the West and North West of Ireland.

In 2016, Aurivo chose ISPCC as its charity partner for whom it would fundraise for, and the company's staff has been actively participating in events to fundraise.

Staff and customers alike raised €20,000, with Aurivo matching their efforts.

“We were honoured when Aurivo chose us as their 2016 charity partner and we are delighted to receive€40,000 for our work in the North West," Carmen Taheny, Corporate Fundraising Executive for the ISPCC, said.

"To all the people who took part in and supported Aurivo’s fundraising activities for us in 2016 we owe a heartfelt thanks, the difference it will make in the lives of our clients is truly immeasurable,” he added.

Charity of the Year Initiative

The move was part of Aurivo's Charity of the Year Initiative, which has previously helped a series of other charities across Ireland. Its charity partner for 2017, and next to receive a cheque, is Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

“Aurivo’s Charity of the Year programme is an important part of our corporate social responsibility strategy," Aaron Forde, Aurivo CEO commented.

"Each year we chose a different charitable cause to support, and each cause is as important as the next.

"We are proud that we can help the great work of these different charities in some way," he concluded.
