Carr & Sons Seafood Achieves International Grade A Accreditation

Irish seafood producers Carr & Sons Seafood Limited has achieved a coveted Grade A accreditation with The British Retail Consortium.

The certification gives the brand independent confirmation of the high standards adhered to throughout the entire supply chain at its Killala plant.

Furthermore, it recognises the company’s investment in implementing best practice procedures across each stage of its production process.

Maureen Forde, quality control manager at Carr & Sons Seafood, commented on the certification, “This achievement reflects the commitment of every single person throughout our company.”

She added that, “It offers assurance to food retailers that Carr & Sons Seafood adhere to the highest quality standards within the food processing industry and I have no doubt that it will open doors for us with key buyers to secure new business and substantially increase sales.”
