Changes To Be Made To Mediahuis Regional Titles: CSNA

Mediahuis Ireland is rebranding all of its regional newspapers, with the new look to take effect from this Wednesday (13 September), according to the Convenience Stores and Newsagents Association (CSNA).

As part of this redesign, the publisher has also taken the opportunity to merge editions of some of these titles to 'enhance and broaden' the news coverage in the area.

This will mean the following changes:

The Kerryman ‘Tralee Edition’

The Kerryman ‘Tralee Edition’ will be merged with The Kerryman ‘North & West Edition’ to become The Kerryman ‘North, West & Tralee’.

Stores which currently receive only the Tralee edition will from next week be supplied the North, West & Tralee edition instead.

The barcode for the existing North & West edition will remain the same on the new North, West & Tralee edition.

CSNA noted that there will be no change to the title's RRP.

If a store currently receives both the Tralee edition and the North & West edition, supplies of both editions will be merged to give the same total quantity for the new ‘North, West & Tralee’ edition, the group added.

The Wicklow People

There is no change to the RRP or to the barcode for the main edition of the Wicklow People, CSNA highlighted.
