Galway based business Clada Group Ltd. has been named as the Best Food and Drinks manufacturer in Ireland for Quality Management Systems at the 2016 National Q Mark Awards.
Winning the title of 'Champions of Business Excellence', the team from Clada Group were beaming with pride as they were called to the stage to receive the winner’s medal during the awards ceremony held in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin.
Irene Collins, Managing Director of The National Q Mark Awards said, "The team in Clada have been persistent in their desire to win a Q Mark Award and I’m SO thrilled for them. They are very much centre stage this year."
Commenting on the event, the Minister for Social Protection, Leo Varadkar TD, said: "At the heart of the Governments strategy is supporting Irish businesses through policies to create the environment for a strong economic recovery by promoting competitiveness and productivity. These are the modern Irish businesses that are driving the engine of our recovery, and I wish them every success in the future".
