Dettol Donates 65,000 Units Of Disinfectant To Hospitality Industry

Disinfectant brand Dettol has today pledged its support to help staff and customers in pubs across the country as indoor hospitality reopens.

65,000 units of Dettol antibacterial hand sanitiser samples will be given away over the coming weeks, the Irish brand said.

Dettol hand sanitiser is proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including Coronavirus, it noted.

Nationwide Distribution

The Dettol hand sanitiser products will be distributed to pubs around the country with the aim of keeping hands clean for staff and customers as they welcome guests back into pubs across Ireland.

Dettol owner Reckitt said it is delighted to support local pubs by helping provide additional reassurance for staff and their guests this summer.

The company said it is driven by its purpose to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world.

Echoing the sampling activity with the pub trade, Dettol is calling on the Irish public to continue their efforts throughout the summer and sanitize their hands to help against the spread of bacteria and viruses including Covid-19 virus.
