Flahavan’s and Keelings have come together for National Porridge Week (Monday 19th October to Sunday 25th October), to celebrate porridge and fruit together as a breakfast for all the family to enjoy.
Research has revealed that Irish consumers are spending less time at the table at breakfast, so Keelings and Flahavan’s have teamed up to entice people to ‘Share a Breakfast Moment', by offering 50c discount coupons on each other’s brands.
Consumers who buys Keelings’ raspberries, blueberries or strawberries across October and November will get 50c coupon off of a Flahavan’s product and vice versa.
The Share a Breakfast Moment campaign is being supported with ‘The Brekkie Bus’, a specially outfitted double-decker bus inviting people onboard for porridge and fruit at key locations, including Heuston Station.
A primary schools initiative is also being rolled out nationwide to educate children on the importance of a healthy start to the day, while a campaign collaboration with dietician Aveen Bannon has provided nutritious breakfast recipes and tips.
