Flahavan’s Profits Rose By €2.5M Last Year

Revenue company behind Irish food brand Flahavan’s rose by 24% topping €2.50 million in 2017.

The Waterford-based food manufacturer, Edward Flahavan & Sons had a turnover of €21.1 million last year, reports the Sunday Business Post.

It directors said that the results were satisfactory, and that they aimed to sustain the level of activity in the company.

Based in Kilmacthomas, the producer of porridge has been in operation for over 200 years.

The firm started out as an oats mill at Kilmacthomas in the late 1700s and now produces a range of oat-based products, such as merchant and cereal.
