Freshly Chopped Unveils Expansion Plan For Ten New Stores, 150 Jobs

The Irish healthy fast food company, Freshly Chopped, has announced that it is to open ten new stores, according to the Irish Independent.

Through the new stores, the food chain is looking to create up to 150 new jobs.

The new stores will be located across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Britain, and the group plans that they will be opened before Christmas.

Expansion

"We are delighted to be accelerating our growth across four different markets," Brian Lee, co-founder and MD of Freshly Chopped, said.

"These 10 new stores showcase the success of our growth programme that we have used to continue the revolution in healthy fast food."

In February earlier this year, Freshly Chopped announced the opening of its first international outlet in Cyprus, and hinted at further plans for a Europe-wide expansion.

Very soon after, the group announced that it signed up to become the official Health Food Partner of the Guinness PRO14 Final Series.

The group also has strategic partnerships with BWG, Maxol, the Mount Charles Group, and Aramark.
