Fusion And Street has been named the Jury Selection for the best product from Ireland at the voting for the 'World Tour By SIAL' product awards in Paris.
The brand, developed by the Kilkenny Food Company, will now go on to compete for the overall 'World Tour By SIAL' award, the winner of which will be announced at the SIAL trade fair in Paris from 19-23 October.
The 'World Tour By SIAL' programme (formerly SIAL D'Or), is a meeting of minds of representatives from 28 top trade magazines (including Checkout, representing Ireland) around the world, to discuss the latest trends in grocery and product innovations in their respective countries.
A total of five products were nominated to represent Ireland: Tayto Popcorners (Largo Foods), LowLow Snack Pack (Kerry Foods), Fusion And Street (The Kilkenny Food Company), Parrot Bay (Diageo) and Zaconey (Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard).
