Glenilen Farm has announced plans to expand its presence in the UK market, introducing a range of desserts including Chocolate Mousse and Coconut and Passion Fruit Panna Cotta to 138 Tesco stores from mid-June.
In addition, its Lemon Cheesecake will be sold on all European Aer Lingus flights as well as in-store.
These products had not previously been available outside of Ireland, and indicate the growing ambition of Glenilen Farm to expand throughout the UK and Europe.
"Things have been going well for Glenilen Farm in the past twelve months,"said Alan Kingston, co-founder of Glenilen Farm. "The introduction of our dessert ranges of Lemon Cheesecake , Chocolate Mousse and Coconut and Passion Fruit Panna Cotta will take our export business in the UK to the next level."
Glenilen Farm started selling its produce at local farmers markets in 1996 before expanding into retail in groups including Musgrave, Mortons, Dunnes Stores, Nolans and Tesco. Currently employing 40 people in its Drimoleague base, West Cork, Glenilen Farm looks increasingly towards export as a key focus for the future of the brand.
