Glenisk Releases Rugby-Themed #EatLikeThem Ad Campaign

Glenisk has released two rugby-themed commercials, featuring former international player Shane Horgan, to coincide with the 6 Nations Championship and highlight the dairy’s partnership with the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU).

Glenisk has agreed to a three-year deal with the IRFU to provide the Ireland Men’s and Women’s teams with its new protein-rich Greek Style yoghurt, making it ‘The Official Yoghurt of Irish Rugby’.

The #EatLikeThem ads aim to show that, while ordinary people can’t always play like the professionals, they can eat like them, and feature well known rugby manoeuvres cropping up unexpectedly in everyday life.

Star of the ads, Shane Horgan commented, “As a former rugby player, I understand the importance of nutrition in helping each of us to achieve our potential and I’m delighted to work with Glenisk to help focus attention on the role of good, natural food in health and fitness.”

The IRFU partnership is featured on special rugby-themed packs of Glenisk’s Authentically Strained Greek Style Yogurt, which is naturally rich in protein and free from artificial ingredients.
