The Hula Hoops 3x3 Basketball League Takes Place Saturday

Hula Hoops has announced that it has renewed its sponsorship of the 3x3 National Basketball League, which will take place this coming Saturday, 18 May.

The family sporting event, which takes place at Bray Seafront will see sixteen teams from across the Basketball Ireland National Leagues competing to be crowned Hula Hoops 3x3 National Champions.

“3x3 is such an exciting form of the game and it will be great for people to be able to see it in Ireland on this scale again this year,” said Conor Meany, Commercial Manager at Basketball Ireland stated.

“With some of the top players in the country playing, we should have an amazing event and it will definitely be worth coming down to Wicklow to see what 3x3 is all about.”

A specially constructed court has been created specifically for the event and the Hula Hoops Mascot will be on hand to entertain as well sampling Hula Hoops and Hula Hoops challenges for all the family.

Dedicated Sponsors 

Hula Hoops announced its sponsorship of the sporting event in 2015.

More than 125 clubs from 16 counties are set to take part in this season’s events while the new National Intermediate Club Championships will give local clubs the chance to play on Ireland’s biggest basketball stage.

Admission on the day is free.
