Java Republic To Be Served On Short Haul Aer Lingus Flights

Irish coffee roaster, Java Republic has been confirmed as the new on-board coffee supplier for Aer Lingus’ short haul routes, including those to European destinations.

Aer Lingus guests will now be able to enjoy freshly brewed Java Republic filter coffee as part of the airline’s on-board 'bia' menu. With ground coffee sealed in the bottom of each cup, it can be brewed freshly on demand for each customer.

Managing Director of Java Republic Grace O’Shaughnessy, commented, “Aer Lingus is a shining example of a trusted Irish brand that is devoted to offering a quality of service that’s second-to-none whilst remaining committed to moving with the times, and there is a good reason why Ireland’s premier airline has chosen to partner with Java Republic.”

She added, “I’m proud that this partnership is allowing us to put our fresh, hand-roasted, coffee within reach more people and thus giving them the opportunity to taste the quality coffee experience that we have carefully hand-crafted in our very own roastery in Dublin”

Chief Commercial Officer at Aer Lingus, Mike Rutter said, “We’re delighted to partner with Java Republic to offer Aer Lingus guests the very best of Irish on board. We continue to develop our bia menu to ensure we’re meeting our guests’ needs and working with local Irish suppliers is very much rooted in our overall retail strategy.”
