Did you know...?  HelloFresh has said that order rates in the second quarter of its financial year were 71.2% higher than in the corresponding period last year, indicating that shoppers are continuing to purchase meal kits even as pandemic restrictions ease. The group saw 30.98 million orders placed for its products in the quarter, up from 18.1 million in the corresponding period last year. Group revenue for the period stood at €1.56 billion, a 66.5% increase on the previous year at constant currency levels, it added. Adjusted EBITDA was €157.8 million, while adjusted EBITDA margin came in at 10.1%.

Did you know...? Dutch retailer Plus has announced that it has moved its entire private-label yoghurt range to organic. In the spring of this year, the retailer switched to organic for all own-brand fresh milk and buttermilk SKUs in one litre pack. To expand its organic offering, the retailer introduced its own brand label Biologisch PLUS and expanded the range of organic products considerably. Currently, all fresh own-brand yoghurt SKUs, including skimmed, semi-skimmed and full versions, are organic.

Did you know...? Philip Morris has raised its bid for British drugmaker Vectura to 165 pence ($2.29) per share, the tobacco company said on Sunday. "The PMI (Philip Morris International) increased offer values the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Vectura at approximately £1.02 billion ($1.41 billion)," it said in an emailed statement to Reuters. The latest offer represents a premium of approximately 10 pence per share to a rival offer of 155 pence a share by U.S.-based Carlyle Group announced on Friday.
