Mash Direct Secures Waitrose Deal

The family-owned farming and food production business have secured a new deal with upmarket UK retailer Waitrose.

The new contract sees the County Down family business's Carrot and Parsnip Mash go into over 330 stores across England as of 11 April 2018.

The company said it is celebrating this new opportunity by launching a special introductory price of £1 per pack.

'Great Opportunity'

“This is such a great opportunity for us to showcase the heritage varieties of vegetables on our family farm, grown specifically for their superior flavour,” said Mash Direct director Jack Hamilton.

“We already have a strong working relationship with Waitrose and supply them in Scotland, the Channel Islands and the UAE and we are looking forward to building our reputation in these new stores.”
