McCambridge Awarded Advertising Campaign Worth €80,000

Love Irish Food and Exterion Media have today announced McCambridge Bread as the winner of The Love Irish Food 2016 Brand Development Award.

To mark the fifth year of the award the Irish owned bread maker will be awarded advertising space from Exterion Media. Allied to this, OwensDDB Advertising Agency will also provide McCambridge Bread with an €10,000 creative bursary towards the campaign which will run next year.

Accepting the Brand Development Award, McCambridge Director, Michael McCambridge, said: “I am absolutely delighted to have won the Love Irish Food Brand Development Award. It very important for our brand to be associated with Love Irish Food and the great work they do showcasing quality Irish food brands that are made in Ireland.”

The two week national campaign will appear on Exterion Media’s out-of-home retail network and purchase point advertising platforms.  The winning package will also include mentoring, print production and digital animation.

Congratulating McCambridge Bread on winning the Brand Development Award, Kieran Rumley, Executive Director, Love Irish Food said: “After due consideration of the very strong entries, the judges felt that McCambridge was the worthy winner. This award will give McCambridge Bread a huge opportunity to directly connect with its target audience through a new dimension and continue to grow its brand. We look forward to seeing the campaign early in 2017.”


McCambridge Bread was established in 1945. Its bread range includes traditional, gluten-free and artisan breads. They recently added a new range of home bake bread kits to their product portfolio.
