Nobó Design Wins IDI Design Award

Nobó, founded by Brian and Rachel Nolan, is a dairy free ice-cream company that recently won the IDI Design Award in the Best Packaging Category. Brian’s brother, John Nolan, received the award for his work on the packaging of Nobó.

The packaging designed highlighted the simple ingredients that were used to make the products in order to improve business at specific demographics. These customers include young adults and health conscious customers, and those looking for a “free from” compared to other products on the market.

Nüsli, designed by Steven Grunert, and Cocalero, designed by Ronan Holohan and Lukasz Grywacz, were the runners-up in the same category. Nüsli is a new yoghurt product consisting of fresh fruit, fruit juice, grains and nuts. Cocalero is a green herbal liquor with the base ingredients obtained from the South American ‘Cocalero’ Coca Leaf marketed to the Asian, European and Australian territories.
