Ten Limerick Food Producers Advance To Blas na hÉireann 2019 Final

Ten Limerick food producers made it to the final round of the 2019 Blas na hÉireann October finals in Dingle, County Kerry.

As reported by the Limerick Leader, the finalists from Limerick are Attyflin Estate, Bally Goat Cheese, Ballyhoura Apple Farm, BeeActiv Ltd., Glen Aine Foods Ltd., Glenstal Foods, Kearney's Home Baking Ltd., Murphys Home Bakery, Old Irish Creamery Cheese and The Green Apron.

The final event kicks off in Dingle on 3 October.

Blas na hÉireann

The finalists have been in Dublin on a roadshow, preparing how to cook, prepare, and display their food for judging.

Over 2,500 products were entered into this year’s competition to win Gold, Silver or Bronze Blas na hÉireann awards in over 140 food and drink categories.

The Blas na hÉireann 2019 awards will be presented on 5 October during the Dingle Food Festival.
