Unilever Collaborates With SmileyWorld For European In-store Promotion

Unilvere and Smiley teamed up to create an retail promotion, launched in 45 Carrefour Hypermaket and 450 Carrefour Market stores across Europe.

Since the promotions inception two weeks ago, 100,000 SmileyWorld mug sets priced at €15 have been distributed to customers.

The promotion was created to 'reward' customers who purchased over €15 of across the range of Unilever products with the Smiley two mugs gift.

Lori Heiss-Tiplady, VP of Brand Strategy at The Smiley Company, said of the partnership: “The success of the cross-sell promotion illustrates the perfect fit between the world’s happiest brand, SmileyWorld, and Unilever’s range of products which help families create a happy home.”
