Virgin Media Solutions have announced that food ordering and delivery service, Just Eat, are the official sponsor of the pop culture podcast Popsessed, according to a statement.

Hosted by Conor Behan and Holly Shortall the podcast, which recently celebrated 100,000 downloads, sees the pair discussing the week's biggest and most bizarre pop culture moments and entertainment stories.

Perfect Match

It revealed that the exclusive three mont partnership will run from June to August and will see the hosts joining there sponsor at a number of live events over the summer.

"Just Eat is all about great food delivered straight to your door with the tap of the app, so this partnership with Popsessed was the perfect match," said Annelie McCaffrey, head of marketing, Just Eat Ireland

"We’re looking forward to welcoming Holly and Conor along to some of our upcoming events, with the dynamic duo sure to bring their signature flavour to the Just Eat menu.” She said.

"With the rapidly growing popularity for podcasts in the Irish market, there is no better time for Just Eat to have partnered up with us to deliver this tasty sponsorship," said Hannah Meaney, brand partnership executive, Virgin Media Solutions.

Fans of the podcast can download from most major platforms including Spotify, Stitcher, Castbox, Chartable, Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Podchaser, RadioPublic, TuneIn, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Castro, Podbean, Player FM, myTuner Radio, OwlTail.
