Britvic Ireland Launches New Resealable Sparklingly Fruity Water Range

Britvic Ireland, the maker of Ballygowan, has unveiled the newly re-sealable Ballygowan Sparklingly Fruity, with just 36 calories per bottle.

Britvic said that the beverage is already a popular low-sugar refreshment in Ireland, and now can be enjoyed ‘on-the-go’ in this new look bottle.

Sparklingly Fruity

The drink is made with naturally sourced sweeteners from the Stevia plant, which is what helps keep the calorie count low.

Made from lightly sparkling Irish Spring Water, Ballygowan Sparklingly Fruity is available in two fruity flavours - Apple, Elderflower and Lemon, and Raspberry and Blackberry.

“We are delighted to introduce a new, refreshed take on one of our favourite drinks to help Ballygowan fans to stay refreshed on the go,” said Sian Young, marketing manager at Britvic Ireland.

“We all aspire to drink more water and know how this can benefit our bodies but that’s often easier said than done.

“The new-look, re-sealable Ballygowan Sparklingly Fruity aims to help consumers do just that by providing a burst of fruity refreshment that can be enjoyed throughout the day.”

Both flavour variants will have a recommended retail price of €1.80.

Low-Sugar Demand

Britvic Ireland recently reintroduced Club Zero Super Split to the Irish market during the summer, after a successful limited edition launch the previous summer.

Britvic’s strong sales of these reduced-sugar and non-carbonated drinks saw its third-quarter revenues increase by 3.4% this year.
