C&C Group has announced that Jill Caseberry and Helen Pitcher have been appointed as independent Non-Executive Directors with effect from 7 February 2019.
The Bulmers maker also announced that Jim Thompson has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2019.
Jill Caseberry has vast experience in sales, marketing and general management experience across a number of bluechip companies including Mars, PepsiCo and Premier Foods.
Helen Pitcher
Helen Pitcher currently holds a position on the boards of Pladis Global, United Biscuits, Advanced Boardroom Excellence Ltd, and the UK Criminal Cases Review Commission.
She is also the President of KidsOut, a national UK charity for disadvantaged children, and a board member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development, which promotes better work and working lives.
In 2015, Pitcher was awarded an OBE for services to business.
Jim Thompson
Jim Thompson, who begins his role in March, has over 30 years of investment management experience in the US, UK and Canada.
Currently managing principal at Kingfisher Single Family Office, Thompson is also a regular guest lecturer for MBA Programmes in various universities across the US.
Company Secretary
In addition to the three board appointments, C&C group also announced the appointment of Mark Chilton as company secretary and group general counsel.
Chilton was company secretary and general counsel of Booker Group from 2006 until 2018.
