Doolin Craft Beer and Roots Festival Brings Brews And Bluegrass To Clare

Some of Ireland’s best known craft beer breweries, along with bluegrass and roots musicians are set to take part in the 2015 Doolin Craft Beer and Roots festival, which gets underway this Friday.

The largest craft beer festival outside of Dublin, it will take place on the grounds of Hotel Doolin in Clare until Sunday night, featuring pub music sessions and stalls serving food from the Burren region.

Breweries lined up to showcase their products at the festival include Dungarven Brewing, Carlow Brewing Company, Dingle Brewing Company and Eight Degrees, amongst many others.

An Irish Red Ale brewed specially for the Fitzpatrick’s Bar in Hotel Doolin by Seamus O’Hara from the Carlow Brewing Company will also be on offer.

Bands lined up to perform across the weekend include Luan Parle and Clive Barnes, The Young Folk, Gavin Glass and The Holy Shakers, and many more.
