Febvre Wins Eight ‘Star Awards’

Febvre wine company was awarded eight ‘Star Awards’ 2016-2017 at the Irish Wine Show Awards organised by the National Off-Licence Association (NOFFLA) and held in the Morrison Hotel, Dublin 1 last night (Monday, October 10).

The Irish Wine Show ‘Star Awards’ collection is a selection of wines especially chosen by wine experts in the National Off-Licence Association and Independent Wine Writers.

“We are delighted with this tremendous success having been awarded eight medals out of a grand total of 45”, said Kerri Judge, Marketing Manager of Febvre & Company. “The fact that they are across different price points and represent wines from France, Italy, Portugal, South Africa and Australia shows the depth of our portfolio”, she added.

Two gold medals were awarded to Febvre wines, with Jordan: The Prospector Syrah 2014 Stellenbosch winning the Under €20 New World Red category, and Simonnet-Febvre: Crémant de Bourgogne NV Brut, Burgundy winning the Under €25 Sparkling Wine category.

Febvre also received two silver and four bronze medals.
