Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard Hosts ‘Dress For Success’ Event

Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard has hosted a charity event at the Old Jameson Distillery yesterday, in partnership with Dress for Success Dublin, a charity that encourages women to donate unused work clothes to unemployed women and helps them get back into employment.

Sixty Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard employees brought along work clothes, shoes and bags they no longer needed. Dress for Success Dublin founder Sonya Lennon provided beauty and fashion tips, and said at the event: “I wanted to bring the organisation to Dublin in order to help unemployed women in Ireland regain the confidence and skills needed to get back into the work place. The support of companies like Irish Distillers is key to our continued success.”

Chief executive of Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, Anna Malmhake, fresh from her appearance at the Checkout Conference on Tuesday, added: “Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard is dedicated to support individuals with the motivation and determination to get back into the workforce or start their own business.

“The Dress for Success team does an amazing job supporting Irish women on their career paths and we are proud to support this mission.”
