Irish Whiskey Brand Tullamore D.E.W. Lands Partnership With Aer Lingus

Tullamore D.E.W., Irish whiskey, has recently announced that it has secured a partnership, with Aer Lingus and will be available to purchase on all flights across Europe and North America.

'The partnership with Aer Lingus is the second of its kind for Tullamore D.E.W. which is also available for purchase on Travel Services Airline, Czech Republic’s largest airline,' the owners and distributors of the premium whiskey brand said in a statement.

Speaking on the partnership, recently-appointed Chin Ru Foo, Global Brand Director, Tullamore D.E.W. said: “We are excited to bring our much-loved Irish whiskey to the skies, via this exciting new partnership. The deal underpins our sustained commitment to Ireland through innovation, partnerships and distribution.”

The deal comes as the Irish premium whiskey category, the fastest growing spirits category in the world, has seen growth of 135% over the last five years.

Since acquiring Tullamore D.E.W. in 2010, William Grant & Sons has made an investment of €100 million in the whiskey brand, which has seen its global sales rise to one million (9L) cases annually.
