Jameson International Graduate Programme Seeks Applicants

Irish Distillers is calling on applicants to join the Jameson International Graduate Programme, which is now entering its 25th year.

Jameson is looking to recruit over 20 graduates for roles in markets such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, China, Japan and Russia where they will be given the opportunity to develop business leadership skills with a global Irish brand, supported by Irish Distillers’ and Pernod Ricard’s international network. At present there are 75 graduates working in 42 global markets as part of the three-year Jameson International Brand Ambassador programme.

Sinéad D’Arcy, Jameson International Graduate Programme Manager said: “Jameson is the No. 1 Irish whiskey in the world with 27 years of consecutive growth. Our programme, established 25 years ago, has played a central role in this phenomenal growth story. We’re proud to offer Ireland’s best young graduates an experience like no other.”

D’Arcy said that 34% of the programmes 352 graduates to date have been retained in Irish Distillers or the wider Pernod Ricard Group, including Simon Fay, Irish Distillers International Marketing Director. “We want the right people to help tell our story our way. We’ll provide the support structures and resources for graduates to fulfil their potential and in return our graduates can kick start their career while helping to share an Irish success story with the world.”

The program is accepting applications from all graduates. D’Arcy explained: “Some of our best graduates have degrees below a 2.1. We are not only looking for people with business or marketing degrees; we are looking at people from all disciplines. Our graduates come from backgrounds as diverse as law, physiotherapy and computer science. What we look for is someone with a well-rounded and full college experience.”
