Jameson Irish whiskey has ranked number 11 on Impact’s ‘Top 100 Premium Spirits’ brands worldwide – a jump of four places when compared to the previous year.
The spirit also debuted at number six on Impact’s annual ‘Hot Brands’ list, which recognises the industry’s top growth drivers.
The annual report, which was compiled by the global research firm for the wine, spirits and beer publication Shanken News Daily, also listed Jameson at number 31 on the list of ‘Top 100 Spirits Brands’ (Premium and Non-Premium), up from 38 last year.
“As these impressive rankings on Impact’s Top 100 Spirits’ reports demonstrate, the great growth story of Jameson continues,” said Jean-Christophe Coutures, chairman and CEO of Jameson parent company, Irish Distillers.
“Jameson has been driving the growth of the Irish whiskey category for the past 28 years, and it continues to thrive with double or triple digit growth in 80 markets across the world,” he added.
Last week, the distiller unveiled its new Wild Seaweed Bitters, a cocktail ingredient and the second release in its Bitters range
