Kahlúa To Give 100 Free Espresso Martinis This St. Patrick’s Day

Coffee liqueur Kahlúa is offering 100 free espresso martinis in Dublin this St. Patrick’s Day.

The drinks will be available from Hogan’s on Fade Street, with one offered per person and strictly over 18s only.

Drink Of Choice

According to a survey by Bounce Insights, almost 70% of people admit to wanting to order a cocktail but ultimately order something else for fear of judgement.

Kahlúa’s promotion encourages cocktail enthusiasts to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the way they want this year.

By teaming up with Hogans, Kahlúa is taking care of the first round from 1pm on St. Patrick’s Day. Complimentary drinks are given on a first come first served basis.

Ex-Ireland rugby player Rory Best, who has teamed up with Kahlúa, welcomed the announcement.

Best said, “As an ex-professional rugby player, three’s a particular pint I’ve always been association with and whenever I go to the bar people assume they know what I want to drink….

“It’s true, there’s nothing quite like a cold, black and creamy beverage on St. Patrick’s Day, but for me, it’s got to be a Kahlúa Espresso Martini.

“I’m proud to stir things up with Kahlúa this St. Patrick’s Day, encouraging everyone to celebrate in their own way, whatever they want to drink – Feliz St. Patrick’s Day.”

‘Celebrate Their Own Way’

The marketing director of Irish Distillers Jessica Lynn said, “We want everyone to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in their own way.

“Whether that’s a pint of stout, a dazzling espresso martini, or just a tall glass of water, to each their own.

Lynn concluded, “We say sláinte to everyone, no matter what drink you fancy!”

Kahlúa has identified a desire for contemporary approaches to holidays as people seek to personalise them.

With the likes of Galentine’s Day – a celebration of friends on or around Valentine’s Day –  gaining global recognition, it is clear young people are looking to shake up traditions.

This is why Kahlúa is encouraging a change this St. Patrick’s Day, and steer people towards ordering their drink of choice.
