Lidl Ireland has launched a brand-new premium craft beer range available across all 168 stores nationwide.
The retailer has partnered with four specialist local Irish suppliers to build out its new, premium range, sourced from up and coming local brewers including Sligo-based The White Hag Brewery, BRÚ Brewery from Trim, Co. Meath and Porterhouse Brew Co. hailing from Ballyboggan Road, Co. Dublin.
Lidl’s said its new range features a carefully curated selection with unique speciality beers for the craft beer connoisseur as well as flavoursome approachable varieties for selective sippers.
Independent Local Breweries
Lidl said it has sourced the range from independent local breweries the length and breadth of the country that have been impacted by the closure of the hospitality industry.
Speaking about supplying Lidl’s 168 stores across the country, Bob Coggins, commercial director at The White Hag Brewery said, "We're thrilled that our new partnership with Lidl allows us to bring our range of independent beers to the whole country."
"For the first time our core range of beers are now available through a national retailer, and we look forward to bringing a whole new audience into the world of great Irish craft beer," he added.
White Hag Brewery is a modern independent craft brewery from Sligo, on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, brewing innovative and ground breaking beers, inspired by ancient and classic styles.
