Lolea Craft-Made Sangria Launches In Ireland

Lolea a premium sangria from the Northeast of Spain has been recently launched in Ireland.

The craft-made beverage has just 7% alc. content, based on an exclusive recipe combining high quality wine and fruit.

In just four years, the brand has become available in over 50 countries, Ireland being the most recent export addition.

“Lolea provides a unique experience of contemporary Spain and it is synonymous with social gatherings, celebration and joy,” said Antonio Salinas, Lolea 's zone director for Europe.

“Lolea is an all-natural, artisanal, refreshing drink to be enjoyed with family and friends.  We think that these personality traits of Lolea fit in perfectly with the modern, stylish Irish consumer, and hence launching here is really exciting for us.”

Where It All Began...

The sangria producer explained in a statement that the concept was developed five years ago when four friends gathered over the weekend to enjoy classic dishes al-fresco such as Spanish paella or a good stew, along with a pairing of the best sangria recipe.

While sharing these happy moments, the friends realized there was no ready-made, high quality sangria available in the market – and the idea was born with passion to dive into this new, unexplored space the statement said.

“The most exciting part of the process was preparing the recipe: exploring fine wines with the best combinations of fruit and aromas, focusing on the idea that ingredients should be natural and of the best quality, to create the perfect sangria experience,” added Salinas.

The lightly sparkling alcoholic drink Lolea No. 1 (made with red wine), Lolea No. 2 (made with white wine) and Lolea no. 5 (the rosé option) all come in both 75cl (starting from €28.99 RRP) bottles and a 20cl size is also available (starting from €6.00 RRP).
