Peroni Nastro Azzurro Announces Its 'Irish Creatives'

Peroni Nastro Azzurro has unveiled its three Irish Creatives, chosen by the brand to explore their own interpretation of Life in Italian Style through visits to Rome, Milan, Bologna and Turin, as it ramps up its marketing activity in Ireland with the launch of a new website and social media presence.

Milliner, Laura Kinsella, mixologist, Federico Riezzo, along with trendsetting Dublin design duo, Designgoat, were given the chance to travel to Italy to discover the passion, craftsmanship and attention to detail which define Italian culture.

One of Ireland’s most exciting young milliners, Kinsella, who trained with Philip Treacy, has had her work featured as part of Irish Design 2015’s In the Fold at London Fashion Week. Her trip to Milan saw her visit groundbreaking designers, stylists and boutique owners who impressed her with their commitment to quality, as well as style.

Designgoat are known for their innovation in product design and interiors, having had their work recently featured in exhibitions at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, and in New York. They explored Bologna and Turin, both of which take a unique view of design, architecture and interiors and inspired the pair considerably.

Italian-born Federico Riezzo is the Peroni Nastro Azzurro head mixologist for Europe, as well as the proprietor of Coppa Café in the Royal Hibernian Academy. He has created a range of Peroni Nastro Azzurro infused drinks that will be showcased from next month across selected premium bars in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.

“Trends come and go in all creative spheres, but craft and authenticity cannot be faked. Returning to my birthplace, I was reminded why Italy is such a natural home for innovative design, sophisticated style and authentic food and drink – a place full of inspiration, passion and heritage.”
