Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) is set to sponsor the inaugural Maritime Industry Awards taking place on the 18th of June, at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin.
The awards aim to recognise and celebrate innovative companies and individuals that demonstrate excellence in the Irish maritime and marine sector within a range of categories, from manufacturing, port operations and aquaculture, to education and sustainability.
BIM will sponsor two awards this year; the ‘Aquaculture Excellence Award’ and the ‘Fishing Operator of the Year Award’.
The group recommends that, given the innovations in the sector in recent years, companies should enter and get recognition for the high standards being achieved.
